I’m is a long-serving writer for These Football Times and The Original Coach, and the author of the upcoming book It’s Just a Ball: Exploring the Complexities of a Simple Game. His work explores player development, coaching culture, grassroots football, and the deeper psychological and tactical layers of the game.

Based in the United States, I’m an MLS NEXT and Platform Team coach with extensive experience in elite youth player development and long-term athlete progression. Alongside coaching, I work as a development consultant, supporting clubs, coaches, and players through modern training methodology, game understanding, and developmental strategy.

A lifelong supporter of Liverpool FC and AFC Ajax, my philosophy is heavily influenced by positional play, technical development, and the culture of street football. My writing and coaching approach blend tactical insight with a strong emphasis on creativity, resilience, and individual growth.
